What's OKETANISHIKI? 桶谷式乳房管理法とは？
「桶谷式乳房管理法」は、助産師である桶谷そとみにより創始された独自の乳房管理法です。
第二次世界大戦中、母乳が足りずに命を落とす赤ちゃんが大勢いました。
そんな中で「母乳を出せるようにしなければ」との思いからつくられたのが「桶谷式」です。
中でも「桶谷式乳房マッサージ」は、授乳に悩みを抱える多くの方を救ってきました。
「母乳が出ない」「ちゃんと飲んでもらえるかな」「卒乳はいつかな」…など、
あらゆるお悩みに応えられる桶谷式のプロセスを、当相談室では継承しています。

"The Oketani Method of Breast Management"is a unique method of breast management created by Sotomi Oketani, a midwife during the war.During the Second World War, many babies lost their lives due to lack of breast milk.In such a situation, the Oketani method was created out of a desire to "make it possible to produce mother's milk".
In particular, "the Oketani Method Breast Massage" has saved many people who have problems with breastfeeding.such as "I can't get my mother's milk to come out," "I wonder if she will drink it properly," "I wonder when I will graduate from breastfeeding."We have inherited the process of the Oketani method that can respond to all kinds of problems.

イクコ母乳育児相談室は「桶谷式乳房管理法研鑽会」に参加しています。
助産師のうち研修センターで所定の研修を受けて認定された、母子保健の専門家集団です。
乳房への施術だけでなく、食事指導・育児相談などのサポートもトータルで対応いたします。

看護師、助産師、乳房管理士、小学校教諭、幼稚園教諭、保育士資格、EARLY CHILDREN EDUCATER（ECE：DEPLOMA）
■経歴 Carrer
幼稚園教諭として4年働くなか、ギフテッドチルドレンとの出会いをきっかけに看護の道へ。
3年間で看護師免許を取得した後、助産師の教育課程を修めて産婦人科に4年間勤務した。
その際に乳房ケアの必要性を強く感じたことから「桶谷式乳房管理法」を学ぶ。
1年の研修を経て桶谷式の認定者となり、2001年から訪問施術を開始した。
2012年、娘の留学を機にカナダへ。
現地で子育てを行う女性の乳房ケアを行う傍ら、Early Childhood Educater(ECE )の資格を得る。
2020年に帰国した後は、再び国内での訪問施術に尽力している。
While working as a kindergarten teacher for four years, her encounter with gifted children led her to the nursing field.After three years, she obtained a nursing license (midwifery course) and worked in an obstetrics and gynecology department for four years.At that time, she strongly felt the need for breast care, and learned the Oketani Method of Breast Management.After one year of training, she became certified in the Oketani method and started visiting patients in 2001.
In 2012, she moved to Canada for her daughter's study abroad.In 2012, she moved to Canada to study with her daughter and became an Early Childhood Educator (ECE ) while providing breast care to women raising children there.After returning to Japan in 2020, she is once again devoting herself to visiting patients in Japan.
